inus, the total living brand of IS Dongseo (CEO Kwon Min-seok), a comprehensive construction and building-materials company, has completed bathroom remodeling work for the homes selected through the bathroom remodeling support Good Action campaign it carried out together with Naver Happybean.
inus conducted the Good Action campaign with Naver Happybean to raise awareness of the importance of bathroom hygiene and to provide bathroom remodeling to households in need of bathroom repair and renovation support. Applications were accepted from Happylog users over one month, from November 6 to December 6, and two homes were selected among them to receive bathroom remodeling work worth a total of 10 million won.
The two homes where the work was completed were a low-income multicultural family and a household of a visually impaired person, and inus provided a customized bathroom tailored to each family's circumstances. For the multicultural family, which needed a warm and comfortable bathroom, a radiator was connected as a built-in unit to enhance the heating function, and an integrated washbasin was installed to improve hygiene as well. The bathroom floor, which had a steep slope posing a risk of slipping, was also reconstructed with a gentler gradient to improve safety.
For the household of the visually impaired person, who had poor eyesight and was using an old bathroom and therefore needed a bathroom that could be used safely, the old existing tiles were removed and non-slip tiles were installed to prevent slipping. The position of the faucet, which had been inconvenient to use, was changed so it could be used comfortably, and the leakage problem caused by a crack in the toilet's water supply pipe was also resolved through this work. In addition, inus supplied all of the bathroom materials needed for the remodeling, and the construction was carried out by inus bath bathroom specialists whose bathroom installation capabilities have been verified.
An inus official said, "Thanks to the support and interest of many people, we were able to give a comfortable bathroom to families who truly needed it," adding, "Going forward, we plan to provide inus bathrooms to various places in need of improved bathroom environments through a range of activities."
