Daelim Bath Named to 'Korea Brand Power Index'
No. 1 in the Bathroom Remodeling Category, Chosen by Consumers
Daelim Bath (President Kang Tae-sik), Korea's leading bathroom company, announced that it has been named No. 1 in the bathroom remodeling category of the 23rd Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI), organized by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC), for the fifth consecutive year.
Now in its 23rd year, the 'Korea Brand Power Index' is a brand value certification program in which the Korea Management Association Consulting conducts consumer surveys of domestic products and services closely tied to everyday consumer life, quantifies the influence and awareness of each brand into an index, and announces the results every March.
In this survey, Daelim Bath was recognized for consumer trust and brand value, earning the No. 1 spot in the bathroom remodeling category for the fifth consecutive year. In particular, even amid fierce competition among numerous companies, it ranked first by a wide margin across all evaluation factors, including brand awareness and brand loyalty, claiming the honor of the industry's top position.
Going beyond its status as Korea's No. 1 bathroom specialist, Daelim Bath is leading the way in creating better living spaces with the launch of its total home interior brand 'Daelim Dium,' offering not only smart technology and stylish design but also user-centered bathroom interiors.
In particular, in the COVID-19 era when hygiene has become increasingly important, Daelim Bath has continued to develop and launch new bathroom products focused on smart functions and hygiene, such as smart washbasins and sensor faucets with sterilizing-water functionality, thereby raising consumer satisfaction. It has also continued to release new bathroom remodeling package products, proposing bathroom styles tailored to spaces and needs, and strengthened consumer accessibility by enabling customers to easily compare and purchase products online through its online shopping mall 'Daelim Dium Mall'—factors seen as having boosted its Brand Power Index.
A Daelim Bath official stated, "Because the 'Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI)' is determined based on consumer surveys, the news of being selected No. 1 for five consecutive years brings us great joy and fulfillment above all in having our value recognized by consumers," adding, "As a company that leads the industry, we plan to continue developing a variety of innovative products to raise consumer satisfaction and take the lead in creating better living spaces."
Meanwhile, Daelim Bath is opening the 'Daelim Care' KakaoTalk channel—the first in the bathroom industry to offer rental and home care services—and launching product subscriptions. It offers a wide range of products, including subscription plans for integrated bidets, separate-type bidets, and sanitary ware replacement, as well as smart bathroom care services.
All customers who subscribe to promotional products will receive Kakao Pay Points. Depending on the monthly subscription fee tier, up to 5,000 points will be awarded for purchases of 50,000 won or more. Kakao Pay Points can be used like cash for online payments and are valid for five years from the date they are awarded. The points benefit will be provided on May 14.
