Powerful ventilation plus warm-air heating, drying, and hair & body dry functions

Starting with Russia, aiming for rapid market expansion across Europe

Himpel Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Jung-hwan), a company dedicated to proper ventilation appliances, has exported premium bathroom ventilation appliances to Russia, proving itself a leading brand at the forefront of the ventilation appliance market.

Himpel announced that it shipped 800 units of its bathroom ventilation appliances, including 'Hugent' and 'Zeroc Prime', from its Hwaseong plant for export to Russia.

This export is a case in which the excellence and technological capability of Himpel's premium bathroom ventilation appliances have been recognized, and it is expected to become a successful export case going forward.

In particular, Himpel anticipates that by targeting Russia, Europe's largest market, it will be able to rapidly expand into markets across Europe. According to a KOTRA report, Russia's level of air pollution is somewhat higher than the European average, and given the characteristics of Russia's cold weather, multifunctional bathroom ventilation appliances equipped with a warm-air function are shown to be highly popular, so demand for Hugent is also predicted to be high.

Hugent is a product that allows the bathroom to be managed comfortably through a ventilation function with adjustable levels and a drying function that removes moisture remaining after bathroom use. In addition, with a warm-air function in which warm air flows down to maintain a suitable temperature for use throughout all four seasons, and a hair & body dry function that removes moisture left after showering, it also offers convenience of bathroom use, so a single product can deliver a "four-birds-with-one-stone" effect. Furthermore, a backflow-prevention motorized damper that can block outside air is applied in a dual configuration, allowing users to escape problems such as inter-floor smoking and odors. In addition, reflecting the recent consumer culture of sensitivity to viruses, a product applying the H-UV sterilization system has been added.

Meanwhile, Himpel exports its ventilation appliance products to global markets including Russia, Singapore, Indonesia, and Vietnam. In particular, the Southeast Asian region holds high market value, as demand for bathroom and kitchen ventilation appliances is rising with the recent increase in new apartment construction driven by urbanization. Based on this pioneering of global markets, Himpel achieved the feat of winning the '1 Million Dollar Export Tower' at the Trade Day event supervised by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and hosted by the Korea International Trade Association last year, 2019.
