LX Hausys, ‘Signature Wood – Avantgarde Timber’ Flooring

LX Hausys has won the ‘2021 European Product Design Award (EPDA)’ with its ‘Signature Wood’ sheet flooring for commercial spaces.
Hosted by the Farmani Group, the ‘European Product Design Award’ is a design award that selects beautiful, innovative, and original products, and LX Hausys’ ‘Signature Wood – Avantgarde Timber’ received an award in the home interior product category.
This marks the first time the LX Hausys Design Center has won the ‘European Product Design Award,’ earning high marks for its design originality, innovation, and technical excellence.
LX Hausys’ ‘Signature Wood – Avantgarde Timber’ sheet flooring for commercial spaces applies a seamless design that minimizes repeating patterns through a proprietary wide-design process, realizing patterns close to natural materials. In addition, its synchronized multi-emboss technology reproduces different levels of gloss and texture in each area to realistically express the inherent texture of wood, and the use of a phthalate-free plasticizer allows it to be applied in both residential and commercial spaces.

Meanwhile, LX Hausys has won a total of 54 international design awards—including 14 Red Dot Design Awards, 32 iF Design Awards, and 8 IDEA Design Awards, which are regarded as the world’s three most prestigious design awards—earning recognition for its design capabilities worldwide.
