Eugene Group and Eugene Corporation win Grand Prize at 'Web Award Korea 2022'

Emphasizing its role as a media hub and its business functions

Eugene announced that it won the Grand Prize in two categories at 'Web Award Korea 2022.'

Web Award Korea is Korea's most prestigious web evaluation awards, hosted by the Korea Internet Professional Association (KIPFA) and organized by the iAwards Committee. A judging panel composed of some 3,700 internet experts in Korea evaluates and selects outstanding websites. Following an open call for entries, the selection is based on 28 evaluation indicators across a total of six areas, including visual design, UI design, technology, content, service, and marketing.

This year's Web Award Korea saw fierce competition, with 697 companies participating across a total of 13 categories. Eugene entered the Eugene Group and Eugene Corporation homepages that it newly unveiled this past March. The Eugene Group homepage, entered in the mid-sized enterprise field of the general corporate category, sought to enhance brand competitiveness by emphasizing its role as a media hub where visitors can encounter the SNS content of Eugene Group and its affiliates in one place. Meanwhile, the Eugene Corporation homepage, entered in the construction field of the same category, is characterized by its emphasis on business functions such as marketing and sales, taking into account the fact that, given the nature of the B2B industry, industry stakeholders visit it frequently.

Both homepages entered by Eugene were selected for the Grand Prize in their respective fields, earning high marks from the judges and evaluation panel for their intuitive UI/UX that takes visitors' characteristics into consideration. Sero Communication, a specialized homepage production company, participated in the creation of the award-winning homepages.

A Eugene official said, "We believe the high marks from the judging panel came from analyzing the characteristics of visitors to the Eugene Group and Eugene Corporation homepages and building target-tailored homepages," adding, "Going forward, we plan to strengthen communication activities that allow us to engage with customers through various channels."
