EAGON Windows is expanding its ‘Change-Up’ service this year, which replaces and repairs parts of window systems for customers who wish to improve the performance of their system windows.
EAGON Windows’ ‘Change-Up’ is a service that improves the airtightness and insulation performance of windows by upgrading part of the window to the latest system. Customers who had been unable to replace windows built to performance standards from more than a decade ago due to cost concerns can now receive this new-concept upgrade service that is low-cost and highly efficient.
Replacing the entire window frame entails a cost burden as well as the inconvenience of construction disrupting indoor living, but the ‘Change-Up’ service upgrades products by replacing and repairing certain parts in just half a day, improving performance and durability.
During the service period, EAGON Windows executives and staff are stationed within the complex to provide customer consultations and household visits. The company treats this as a valuable opportunity for its head-office staff to offer consulting directly to residents and to hear customer feedback on its existing products.
Previously, in November of last year, EAGON Windows carried out its window upgrade service for a total of 88 households at ‘Michelangelo Sherville’ in Bundang-gu, Seongnam-si, Gyeonggi-do. Michelangelo Sherville is a mixed-use residential-commercial apartment complex of 803 households, for which EAGON Windows installed system windows at the time of its completion in 2003.
Kim Byeong-cheon, leader of EAGON Windows’ AS (after-sales service) team, said, “Following the successful first upgrade event at Michelangelo Sherville, inquiries have been pouring in, so as of March we are conducting a second event covering around 100 households, and inquiries from nearby complexes wishing to take part are continuing as well.”
Taking this ‘Change-Up’ service as a starting point, EAGON Windows plans to pursue window performance improvements at around 10 residential complexes—such as Bundang Jeongja Wibe Genith and I-Park—where more than 10 years have passed since system windows were installed.
In addition, the company plans to expand the service beyond windows to cover its entire product lineup, including the eco-friendly ‘EAGON Floor’ and the slim interior sliding door ‘EAGON Raum,’ and is also reviewing ways to create mutual growth through future collaboration with head-office-run interior design partner stores.
