EAGON, a comprehensive building-materials company, has begun accepting entries for the '3rd EAGON Windows Construction Photo Contest.'
This construction photo contest was organized to widely promote the excellence and sculptural beauty of buildings, both in Korea and abroad, that feature EAGON's EAGON Windows, EAGON Flooring, and EAGON Raum products, and to discover beautiful architectural photography.
Anyone who loves architecture and photography is welcome to take part, and any photograph of a building in Korea or overseas—such as a government office, hotel, or large corporate headquarters—that features EAGON's products may be submitted. A list of sites where EAGON's products have been installed can be found on the EAGON Holdings blog (https://blog.naver.com/eagonmt/221693821374), but you may also photograph and submit a construction site that is not on the list. It is also possible for one person to photograph multiple locations and submit multiple entries. However, the photographs must be ones you have personally taken.
Entries will be accepted through December 31, and photo files should be submitted by email ([email protected]) along with the name of the building. Submission requirements are as follows: △file format JPEG △file size 3–20MB △resolution of 3,000 pixels or higher.
Winning entries selected through judging will be announced on the EAGON Holdings blog in January 2020. The prizes are: a department store gift certificate worth 1 million won for one Grand Prize winner; a department store gift certificate worth 100,000 won each for five Excellence Award winners; and a Starbucks mobile coffee coupon for 90 honorable-mention winners.
Meanwhile, for the EAGON Windows Construction Photo Contest, now in its third year, the Grand Prize winners of the 1st and 2nd contests were, respectively, a photograph of the KEPCO Engineering & Construction (KEPCO E&C) headquarters in Gimcheon and a photograph of the exterior of the Seamarq Hotel in Gangneung, both of which feature EAGON Windows.
