Smart Storage Solutions for Kids
20% off storage furniture and accessories until August 16
Home furnishing retailer IKEA Korea is holding its 'My Own Storage Solution' event, offering 20% off home furnishing products for storage, in celebration of the summer vacation season through August 16.
This event is designed to help many people keep their homes tidy throughout their children's summer break. A wide range of home furnishing products that let families organize toys, books, and clothing together with their children and build tidying habits are being offered at 20% off to members of IKEA's free membership program, 'IKEA Family.'
Featured event products include: ▲the SMÅSTAD loft bed frame with desk and storage unit, which lets you set up a child's sleeping, studying, storage, and play spaces all at once; ▲the KALLAX shelving unit, ideal for neatly organizing items large and small when combined with various accessories such as the DRÖNA storage box; and ▲the PLATSA wardrobe, which lets you freely combine units according to the size of your space and your family's lifestyle to create a customized storage solution.
You can also discover home furnishing ideas for smart storage. Each offline store will host free workshops for IKEA Family members, sharing storage know-how using IKEA products. 'IKEA Live,' a live commerce show on IKEA Korea's official online mall, will introduce home furnishing tips and products for making the living room, children's room, and bedroom more comfortable spaces through efficient storage. More details are available on the official online mall and each store's website.
The benefits of this event are available at all IKEA Korea stores (Gwangmyeong, Goyang, Giheung, and Dongbusan), the official online mall and app, and 'Hej Order,' a remote ordering service that allows orders by phone or chat.
An IKEA Korea representative said, "We prepared this event so that during the summer vacation—when homes tend to get cluttered—more people can create spaces that satisfy every family member," adding, "We hope you will use IKEA's various storage solutions to discover your home's hidden potential and fill it with your family's own personality."
Meanwhile, IKEA Korea officially entered the domestic market in 2014, starting with IKEA Gwangmyeong, and currently operates four offline stores—including IKEA Goyang, Giheung, and Dongbusan—as well as e-commerce. To realize IKEA's vision of 'creating a better everyday life for the many people,' the company helps more people in Korea love their homes even more through home furnishing. Recently, it has been strengthening omnichannel solutions across all online and offline touchpoints to offer lower prices and greater convenience and to become a sustainable IKEA. As a people-centered company, it also continues to strive to provide a good working environment for its approximately 1,900 employees with diverse experiences and knowledge, and to make a positive impact on local communities as a good neighbor.
