A sophisticated space infused with Smeg’s brand philosophy, showcasing a wide range of products across a floor plan spanning from B1 to the 2nd floor

At the Smeg Cheongdam Flagship, which has opened across 661.1㎡ (approx. 200 pyeong) on Cheongdam-dong’s luxury boulevard, visitors can experience all of Smeg’s products in one place while taking in the brand’s philosophy and values.

‘smeg’ is a specialist in style-driven home appliances that was founded in 1948 in northern Italy by the Vittorio Bertazzoni family and is now run by its third generation. Starting out in the enameling and metalworking business, the company produces the finest Italian-designed appliances with a particular focus on aesthetics, ergonomics, and functionality. Over more than 70 years, Smeg has accumulated technical expertise and, through collaborations with world-renowned architects, designers, and brands such as Guido Canali, Marc Newson, Dolce&Gabbana, and Fiat, has introduced stylish products that stay true to the essence and function of each item.

The first floor of the Smeg Cheongdam Flagship is a gallery zone furnished with small appliances, staged like an installation at eye level so that visitors can examine each product’s materials, colors, and functions one by one. On the second floor, various styles of Smeg built-in products are installed in spaces that recreate real kitchen environments, allowing visitors to envision their own interiors in advance. The B1 floor is composed of Smeg retro-style items, offering an attractive, photo-worthy space as well as an area where visitors can see the various colors and sizes of the refrigerators in person.

Luxurious aesthetics, top-tier quality, and a strong design identity are the elements that make every Smeg appliance truly distinctive. Completed with a passion for tradition and a love of detail, the Victoria line was inspired by the ‘Elizabeth’ cooker, Smeg’s very first, produced in 1948. It is characterized by its signature dial-knob controls and a rich palette of white, black, cream, and silver colors, and despite its strong design identity, it is much loved for its outstanding quality and smart functionality.

In addition to the Victoria line, the main products include the Dolce Stil Novo, Linea, and Classic lines. The ability to choose from a variety of style lines to suit the customer’s taste is a key strength of Smeg’s built-in products. △The Dolce Stil Novo line, boasting the finest materials and the most advanced technology, showcases the most luxurious and refined elegance in the Smeg lineup. △The Linea line completes a modern kitchen with a simple design that emphasizes the ‘Line’ along with practical functionality. △The Classic line, created in collaboration with the studio of world-renowned architect ‘Guido Canali,’ is also worth a close look. Its distinctive stainless-steel finish delivers extreme refinement and precision, while its ergonomic control knobs and handles are intuitive and clean.

With each floor designed around a different concept, the Smeg Cheongdam Flagship is a space where visitors can directly experience Smeg’s unique design philosophy and brand identity. In the store, a manager accompanies visitors one-on-one throughout every space to guide them, and professional consultations are also available in the consulting zone. Operating hours are from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Meanwhile, Smeg has been expanding its network since entering the luxury hall of Galleria Department Store in February 2013, and it currently operates 10 offline directly managed stores, one official online mall, and more than 10 online channels in Korea. Smeg Korea has established and operates a membership program exclusively for Korean customers, and since 2016 it has collaborated with its Italian headquarters to release Korea-specific models tailored to Korean kitchen environments, working to enhance the satisfaction of domestic consumers. 02-413-9500
