Samhwa Paints Industrial Co., Ltd.'s Color Design Center is launching its 'Exterior (building facade design) Trend Seminar' in earnest.

The 'Exterior Trend Seminar' is aimed at professionals in the construction-related industry, including construction firms and designers. It offers an opportunity to identify industry trends—such as future fashionable colors and customized color solutions—by analyzing domestic and international industry and market movements.

At the seminar, Samhwa Paints introduces the key indicators of the 2023-24 mega trends, changes in consumer lifestyles and color preferences, building exterior trends, parking lot color planning, cases of applying Color Universal Design for the color vision deficient, and high-performance eco-friendly paints.

At a recent seminar held with a major domestic construction firm, Samhwa Paints proposed applying Color Universal Design (CUD) to the design manual for underground parking lots in apartment complexes, drawing a strong response.

Color Universal Design is a color scheme designed to ensure that all users, including those with color vision deficiency and the elderly, can clearly distinguish information. Color Universal Design for underground parking lots is characterized by selecting a base color along with coordinating colors for each zone, and by adjusting brightness and saturation to improve the recognition rate of information while securing convenience and safety.
