Seongsu-dong pop-up store runs through July 31, with participatory programs on offer

Taste collection rooms of actor Kim Tae-ri and two artists unveiled

iloom, the lifestyle furniture brand of the Fursys Group, opened its pop-up store 'Layered iloom' in Seongsu-dong, Seoul, on the 8th.

Running through July 31, the Layered iloom pop-up store is a space where visitors can directly experience the collection rooms of brand model and actor Kim Tae-ri, who is taking part in the 'Live Your Taste' campaign, along with those of singer 10CM and street photographer Lim Su-min, the artists who represent iloom's Roman (dream) and Travel taste collections.

iloom believes that as you fill a space with everything from small props to furniture, you complete a collection that reflects your own taste, and it planned the Live Your Taste campaign to blend into the many different collections that different people will create. At Layered iloom, which is run in connection with the campaign, iloom presents collection rooms created in collaboration with artists representing the Kidult, Roman, and Travel keywords among the six taste collections it proposes.

The first floor is composed of a 'Kidult Collection' zone offering a glimpse into actor Kim Tae-ri's actual hobbies and tastes, along with a one-day class room where visitors can make and experience picnic lunch boxes, mirror paintings, macramé and more to enjoy with their dogs, as well as a café offering various layered menu items. Reflecting the taste of Kim Tae-ri, who usually relaxes comfortably at home and enjoys favorite hobbies such as paper toys, the Kidult Collection zone recreates the Kidult Collection seen in the TV commercial, featuring iloom's 'Plop' sofa that is as soft as a bed, the cutely designed 'Poodle' sofa table, and colorful cushions and rugs.

The second floor is composed of the taste collection rooms of artists 10CM and Lim Su-min, who represent the Roman and Travel collections respectively.

The concept of 10CM's Kwon Jeong-yeol's taste collection room is 'GRADATION,' bringing the studio where he spends most of his time directly into Layered iloom. From personal tastes such as collecting toys and soccer jerseys to serious reflection on his music work, visitors can catch glimpses of the gradation Kwon Jeong-yeol seeks to express throughout the space where his collectibles are displayed. Reflecting his fondness for sofas—so much so that he sits on one all day until the seat cushion sinks in—iloom's high-back sofa 'Auckland,' which boasts a comfortable seating experience, has been placed here.

Lim Su-min's taste collection room carries the 'LET IT BE!' concept. True to his character of forging his own path without minding others' gazes, it is completed with a pastel-toned pink space, iloom's 'Hazel' bed with a natural mood reminiscent of a vacation lodging, and rounded children's furniture in vibrant, bouncy colors.

In addition, iloom has prepared a variety of hands-on programs and goods so that visitors can create special memories. Using up to four coins earned after completing missions, visitors can craft their own 'Layered Candle,' and those who upload photos taken at the pop-up store to their personal social media and verify their post are given a keepsake photo printing service. An outdoor terrace is also open for visitors bringing pets, along with a photo booth where they can make memories together with their pets. Goods created in collaboration with the artists—such as acrylic coasters, LP covers, and photo postcards—are available as well.

An iloom brand representative said, "Layered iloom is a place to discover the taste that is completed as the things you love pile up layer upon layer, with collaboration collection rooms offering a glimpse into the artists' tastes as well as a variety of programs for visitors to enjoy," adding, "We hope it becomes an occasion for visitors to experience the artists' taste collections prepared by iloom and to find their own taste through iloom's diverse products."
