Strengthening Eco-Friendly Product Development Capabilities, Actively Conducting Eco-Friendly Testing

Expanding Supply to Public Institutions and More Based on Eco-Friendly Test Reports

Jaehyun Intex Co., Ltd. announced that it is strengthening the eco-friendly product development capabilities of ‘Jaehyun Haneulchang,’ its specialized brand for interior and interior/exterior finishing materials.

Jaehyun Intex recently conducted eco-friendly testing of its ABS doors and MDF Eco Molding, and based on the resulting eco-friendly test reports, it is expanding its supply to schools and public institutions as well as LH housing construction sites. Through this, Jaehyun Intex aims to solidify its position as an eco-friendly interior building materials company.

Eco-friendly testing of building materials is testing of interior materials supplied to multi-use facilities, apartment complexes, and the like, measuring the amounts of volatile organic compounds and formaldehyde emitted from building materials such as wallpaper, flooring, panels, adhesives, and paint. Under set conditions of temperature, relative humidity, and air exchange rate, small chambers and large chambers are used to evaluate the unit emission rates of the building materials.

From mid-February to early March, Jaehyun Intex obtained eco-friendliness test reports for its ABS door and MDF Eco Molding products from the Gyeonggi Furniture Certification Center of the Gyeonggi Daejin Technopark Foundation. In the relevant testing, both the ABS door and the MDF Eco Molding were found to meet the wooden window and door standards of the LH construction specifications.

An official at Jaehyun Intex explained, “By obtaining the eco-friendly test reports, our eco-friendly product development capabilities are being recognized,” adding, “Going forward, we will actively respond to the expansion of our eco-friendly product lineup while also expanding our supply to public institutions, schools, and LH housing construction sites.”
