Jaehyun Intex Co., Ltd. announced that the new half-round/square ‘M-Block Louver’ from Jaehyun Haneulchang, its specialized brand for interiors and interior/exterior materials, has passed the flame-retardant performance test.
Jaehyun Haneulchang's ‘M-Block Louver’ is a product born with a new design amid the popularity of Tambour board, and it is drawing attention for use in art walls and accent interiors. As an eco-friendly product finished with paper foil, it adopts a groove-connection method that makes installation fast and convenient, and its simple product composition ensures easy workability. It can be installed with only a small number of essential tools, boosting worker efficiency, and its repeating positive-negative (relief) effect allows for the creation of a three-dimensional spatial interior after installation.
In particular, with the flame-retardant-treated ‘M-Block Louver’ passing the flame-retardant performance test, it can now be applied with confidence in lodging facilities, religious facilities, educational facilities and multi-use establishments. The flame-retardant performance test examines whether interior decorative materials installed in specific fire-safety-target buildings comply with the standards under fire-safety laws, and it verifies their effectiveness in blocking or delaying the spread of flames in the event of a fire.
Jaehyun Intex stated, “Our ‘M-Block Louver’ is an interior finishing material with a three-dimensional design that is mainly applied to ceilings and walls, enhancing the satisfaction of consumers who want a differentiated interior,” adding, “With this passing of the flame-retardant performance test, the product can be used without restrictions on location, so we expect sales of the ‘M-Block Louver’ to increase going forward.”
Meanwhile, Jaehyun Haneulchang announced that its aluminum single window, featuring a 156 mm 43T exposed bar, earned a Grade 1 rating from a KOLAS-accredited testing institution. The product applies polyamide insulation to enhance the thermal insulation performance of the frame, and by using 43T high-performance Low-E glass it achieved a thermal transmittance (U-value) of 0.717 W/㎡·K and a Grade 1 airtightness rating.
By earning a Grade 1 rating with an aluminum single window—which is sensitive to heat—Jaehyun Haneulchang expects to raise its brand recognition in the recently expanding curtain wall project market and the aluminum insulated window market for high-end homes.
