Kiturami Boiler
Intensive Training for 700 After-Sales Service Technicians
Kiturami Co., Ltd. (CEO Choi Jae-beom) has conducted the ‘2022 Kiturami Boiler Nationwide Dealership Service Technical Training’ for 700 after-sales service technicians at dealerships across the country.
Every year, Kiturami has prepared for the boiler peak season by focusing on employee service training during the summer—the boiler off-season—to strengthen product service and improve customer satisfaction. This year, taking into account concerns over a resurgence of COVID-19 and the record-breaking heat wave, the training was conducted as non-contact video training rather than offline in-person sessions.
The 2022 Kiturami Boiler Nationwide Dealership Service Technical Training was organized over two weeks, covering new-product training and existing-product training.
The first week featured service training on this year’s new products—including eco-friendly condensing boilers, gas water heaters, electric boilers, and carbon mats—covering their key features and advantages, operating principles, internal structure, and parts replacement methods. The second week provided in-depth learning on existing gas boilers, oil boilers, room-by-room control systems, and Internet of Things (IoT) controllers, including product introductions, parts specifications and compatibility, and countermeasures for major cases.
In particular, by utilizing an online video conferencing system, an optimal curriculum was created that enabled two-way communication between instructors and employees, such as real-time Q&A and supplementary training for each subject.
A Kiturami Boiler official said, “Taking comprehensive account of concerns over a resurgence of COVID-19 and our employees’ health amid the record-breaking heat wave, we prepared non-contact service training of a quality no less than that of in-person training,” adding, “Over the past two months, we have done our utmost to produce training videos and recruit instructors in order to raise both employee satisfaction with the training and the quality of the program, so we expect Kiturami Boiler’s service competitiveness to be further enhanced.”
