From June 18 at the SETEC exhibition hall, inviting 110,000 organizing and storage experts
The world's first exhibition combining organizing, storage, and space design
The 1st Organizing·Storage·Space Industry Expo (UPTERIOR 2021) will be held from June 18 to 20 at the Seoul Trade Exhibition Center (SETEC).
Amid the recent prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, homes are increasingly being used as office spaces due to staying at home and working remotely, and together with the rise in single-person households and the shrinking of residential space, a fresh craze for organizing and storage is sweeping the nation.
Related companies are actively carrying out promotional activities combined with organizing and storage marketing—offering organizing and storage services to customers moving into newly sold apartments, kitchen organizing and storage services to customers who purchase sinks, wardrobe organizing and storage services to customers who purchase wardrobes, and refrigerator organizing and storage services to customers who purchase refrigerators—and so organizing and storage has now become essential across industries as a whole, including home appliances, furniture, housing construction, and space design.
Accordingly, the Korea Organizing and Storage Association and The Fairs will hold the '1st Organizing·Storage·Space Industry Expo (UPTERIOR 2021)' from June 18 to 20 at SETEC near Hangnyeoul Station, in order to inform the public of the importance of organizing and storage and to contribute to the brand promotion and business performance of related companies.
Held under the slogan 'Designing Space through Organizing and Storage,' this event will feature the participation of companies from various fields—residential (furniture, home appliances, goods, services, and others), non-residential (offices, public industries, franchises, services, and others), and space design (interiors, architecture·design, design goods)—where visitors can encounter groundbreaking products and services related to the organizing, storage, and space industry.
In addition, the 'Organizing and Storage STORY Contest' based on organizing and storage case studies and the 'Organizing and Storage Goods IDEA Contest' themed on the design and ideas of organizing and storage goods will be held to widely promote the value and necessity of organizing and storage.
Beyond this, events such as the ICPO International Organizing and Storage Conference, the UPTERIOR AWARDS, and a startup IR pitching competition will also be held concurrently, and quality content including expert training seminars for organizing and storage professionals, 1:1 business matching, and startup consulting seminars has been prepared, so that visitors and participating companies can enjoy a diverse array of attractions and achieve tangible business results. Meanwhile, the Korea Organizing and Storage Association, the host organization of the exhibition, has developed systematic and standardized organizing and storage techniques since its founding in 2011 and has been cultivating organizing and storage experts through education and training, with the number of organizing and storage trainees nationwide reaching 110,000. The association has renamed its organizing and storage experts as 'UPTERIOR designers' and is devoting its efforts to improving citizens' quality of life and creating and expanding jobs by cultivating high-quality organizing and storage experts.
Organizing and storage is an important activity that enhances the value of life by providing an environment that makes spaces feel more spacious and daily life more convenient.
