NOROO Paint Co., Ltd. held its '2019 VIP Dealer Strategy Seminar' over two days on February 21 and 22 at the Lotte Hotel Jeju.

This is an annual event that NOROO Paint holds to pursue shared growth with its dealers—key business partners who have developed alongside the company for more than 70 years since its founding in 1945. It is an important occasion that has fostered strategic benefits and laid the groundwork for mutual prosperity through communication between the head office and its dealers.

Attended by NOROO Paint executives and staff along with some 300 leading dealers from across the country, this year's event was held under the theme of 'Leap Forward,' featuring presentations of new products to be launched in 2019 and discussions analyzing changing trends in the paint industry. In addition, there was a detailed introduction to domestic environmental regulations and related safety laws—both being strengthened further this year—as well as a special lecture on the theme of leaping forward, along with sessions of strategic discussion aimed at sharing profits through increased sales in 2019.

The new products to be launched this year were also introduced, with functional paints drawing particular attention, including 'Soon&Soo Water Guard,' which prevents moisture penetration; 'Soon&Soo Radon Guard,' which reduces radon gas; and 'Cool Roof Premium Energy Saver.' Beyond the information provided by the head office, the event also served as an opportunity for dealer representatives from across the country to communicate with one another, gathering and sharing the latest regional trends in an integrated way.

NOROO Paint CEO Jin Myung-ho stressed, "NOROO Paint, which marks its 74th anniversary in 2019, has maintained a sales policy of sustained growth and quality-first service with our dealers, our business partners, based on the technological capabilities and trust we have accumulated over the years." He added, "To secure mid- to long-term competitiveness, we will make this a year of moving one step ahead in local market competition with a broad, far-sighted perspective, deliberating and leaping forward together with our dealers."

Kim Jae-hak, Managing Director of NOROO Paint's Technology Research Institute, who presented the new products, said, "By concentrating on field-oriented product development and technology research based on eco-friendly materials, we will create comfortable paints that consumers can seek out and use with peace of mind, backed by products and color technology that enhance consumer value."
