‘Royal Con Board’ & ‘Royal Marble Board’ — Building Strong Trust Through Product Excellence with Both Workability and Design Appeal
Amid a series of large-scale fires that have led to loss of life due to the use of fire-vulnerable building materials, CS Korea Co., Ltd.—which supplies non-combustible and semi-non-combustible finishing materials that not only guard against fire in multi-use facilities and homes but also offer design appeal and workability—is drawing attention.
CS Korea Co., Ltd. (CEO Choi Hyun-seok), a specialist in eco-friendly non-combustible interior and exterior materials, is expanding its market with its flagship non-combustible finishing material ‘Royal Con Board’ and its semi-non-combustible ‘Royal Marble Board.’
Since starting its business in 2009 as Hee Housing, which sold raw CRC cement board panels—a non-combustible building material—the company changed its name to CS Korea in 2012 to expand its product lineup and secure a nationwide distribution network. It then manufactured and launched ‘Royal Con Board (cement board),’ a finishing board created by adding sanding and patterning processes to the raw panel.
With both workability and design appeal, Royal Con Board leverages its non-combustibility as a strength and is used as an interior and exterior building finishing material, meeting the demands of consumers who want finishing materials that are fire-safe and available in a variety of designs. In addition to Royal Con Board, CS Korea supplies a range of building materials to distributors such as lumber dealers and building material dealers nationwide, and delivers semi-non-combustible interior materials registered with the Public Procurement Service to government offices.
CS Korea CEO Choi Hyun-seok explained, “Royal Con Board is an inorganic, non-combustible product that is far safer against fire than conventional building finishing materials, which are fire-vulnerable. It realistically reproduces the design of a concrete surface, offering both safety and design appeal.” He added, “In particular, the product’s high density lowers its deformation rate for outstanding durability, and its easy installation method has given it competitiveness in the market.”
Non-Combustible and Semi-Non-Combustible Interior and Exterior Building Finishing Materials, Equipped with Both Design and Workability
‘Royal Con Board (cement board)’ is an eco-friendly material that creates an exposed-concrete finish with a modern sensibility. It can be installed on the interior walls of buildings such as retail stores, offices, and homes, as well as on the exterior walls of new or remodeled buildings. As an asbestos-free product made from a blend of natural cement, silica sand, and pulp, it emits no substances harmful to the human body, and as a KFI-certified non-combustible material, it is fire-safe. It comes in a 6T product for interior use and a 9T product for exterior use, and interior walls can be easily installed using silicone and stainless steel pin tackers. In particular, it is manufactured at a high density of 27–29 kg for 6T and 40–45 kg for 9T per panel (1,220×2,440 mm), giving it excellent durability and product stability. Because deformation rate and density are closely correlated, installation cases are also expanding for exterior applications where deformation rate is important, earning the strong trust of installers. The standard product dimensions are 6T 590×800 mm (6 sheets) and 590×1,200 mm (4 sheets), and 9T 590×800 mm (6 sheets).
‘Royal Marble Board’ is a semi-non-combustible interior finishing material made by placing PET film in various designs such as marble and stone onto a sanded magnesium board and finishing all four edges. As a lightweight material, it can replace marble and tile, reducing installation costs, and it is easy to process, allowing it to be cut on site with a circular saw. It saves working time compared to on-site film application over MDF, and its semi-non-combustible certification provides fire protection. For installation, apply silicone or double-sided tape to the back of the product to attach it, then secure the product using a stainless steel pin tacker. Since all four edges are fully covered with film, a clean installation is possible. It can be applied to a variety of spaces, including the entrances, kitchen walls, and accent walls of ordinary homes, as well as academies, hospitals, wedding halls, lodging facilities, retail stores, and offices. The standard product size is 6T 590×800 mm (6 sheets), with 580×1,200 mm and 580×2,400 mm products available in other sizes.

▲ CS Korea’s ‘Fine Zink’ is a product made by bonding and processing high-corrosion-resistant alloy-plated steel sheet with a semi-non-combustible inorganic board, and is characterized by improving surface flatness, a drawback of conventional zinc. Because it does not require separate plywood or moisture barrier paper, it offers superior workability, and Fine Zink can be installed directly over the substructure, making installation simple and shortening the construction period. In particular, it has enhanced quality reliability through a defect-performance bond and responds proactively to any defects that arise.

▲ CS Korea’s ‘Composite Wood (WPC)’ is an eco-friendly, energy-saving product made by combining recycled wood fiber with plastic (polyethylene), and it offers wear resistance and corrosion resistance. In particular, it is a high-density product with an increased proportion of good-quality wood, giving it a low shrinkage-and-expansion rate and excellent durability. Although CS Korea entered the composite wood market as a latecomer, it has emerged as a major domestic supplier by providing quality products.
