Around 10 small and medium-sized enterprises take part at Hanssem Mall through June 30
Partnership with ‘Gyeonggi-do Corporation’ provides new distribution channels
Comprehensive home interior specialist Hanssem Co., Ltd. (CEO Kang Seung-soo) is running ‘Dreamer Market,’ a special online promotional event on its online shopping mall ‘Hanssem Mall,’ aimed at boosting sales of outstanding products from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and small business owners.
The ‘Dreamer Market’ event is being held as part of cooperative activities to support SMEs and small business owners who have recently been struggling amid the economic downturn, allowing SMEs to register and sell their products on Hanssem’s online shopping mall, ‘Hanssem Mall.’ For the participating SMEs, the event offers a new distribution channel and can be a great help in improving their sales.
In cooperation with ‘Gyeonggi-do Corporation,’ which supports the marketing and distribution channel development of SMEs in the Gyeonggi region, Hanssem selected a total of around 10 outstanding SMEs, including fabric companies ‘The Bedding Shop’ and ‘Hwain’ and food companies ‘Areumdam’ and ‘Tripti.’ The selected companies showcase products across three categories at ‘Dreamer Market’: fabrics, household goods, and food.
In the food category in particular, customers can find pesticide-free barley sprout powder and bitter melon juice made from domestically grown bitter melon, as well as nurungji (scorched rice) made from regional specialties such as oats, turmeric, and hijiki seaweed. In this way, ‘Dreamer Market’ sells distinctive SME products that could not previously be found on ‘Hanssem Mall.’ Participating SMEs will continue to be added in stages.
Hanssem is carrying out marketing activities such as featuring the ‘Dreamer Market’ event prominently on the main page of ‘Hanssem Mall’ and sending push notifications to customers who use the ‘Hanssem Mall App.’ In addition, it supports sales by offering free shipping on all products and awarding ‘Hanssem Points’ to customers who write photo reviews after purchase.
Starting with this event, Hanssem plans to roll out long-term cooperative measures one by one together with ‘Gyeonggi-do Corporation,’ including signing business agreements to boost offline sales of outstanding SME and small-business products.
A Hanssem Mall official said, “We designed Hanssem Mall’s Dreamer Market to actively showcase products from SMEs that struggle to develop distribution channels and promote their goods despite having great products, so that this exposure leads to actual sales,” adding, “This event runs until June 30, so we ask for your keen interest.”
Meanwhile, Hanssem has stated that it will continue to actively pursue cooperative relationships with small business owners, with the goal of increasing the roughly 500 small-business and SME partner companies on its online mall ‘Hanssem Mall’ to more than 700 by 2023.
