LG Hausys (CEO Min Kyung-jip) announced that this past November it conducted an overseas interior design tour for 'z:enne,' its homemaker prosumer group.

z:enne is a homemaker prosumer group that LG Hausys has operated since 2007, serving as brand ambassadors for LG Hausys. The group has spread the brand value of LG Hausys and taken part in ensuring that consumer opinions are reflected from the product development stage, while also serving as a communication channel that informs general consumers about the importance of eco-friendly, energy-saving materials through design and interior lectures.

The z:enne overseas interior design tour is held annually for z:enne members who have carried out outstanding activities over the course of the year, with the aim of experiencing advanced overseas interior design culture. This year, 15 members of the 13th z:enne class and 20 honorary z:enne members were selected for interior design tours of Singapore and Shanghai, respectively.

On the Singapore tour, participants visited Merlion Park—an urban park where distinctive Singaporean structures such as the Marina Bay Sands Hotel and the Merlion statue can be seen at a glance. They also visited unique districts such as Little India and Arab Street and toured interior décor shops, learning about Singapore's architectural culture and interior design trends.

On the Shanghai tour, participants viewed the Oriental Pearl Tower, a representative Shanghai landmark to which the interior stone 'HI-MACS' has been applied, and visited Shanghai's art districts such as Tianzifang, Zhujiajiao, Xintiandi, and the Columbia Circle, experiencing local Chinese culture and the latest trends. In addition, through a tour of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea building in Shanghai, they took time to foster patriotism and honor the patriotic spirit of the nation's fallen patriots.

An LG Hausys official said, "We operate the homemaker prosumer group 'z:enne' in order to promote the brand value of LG Hausys and further expand communication with customers," adding, "Through z:enne, we will listen closely to the voice of our customers and take the lead in developing user-friendly interior materials."

Meanwhile, LG Hausys is recruiting the '14th z:enne class' to be active over the coming year. Applications will open in late December, and after interviews, final selections are scheduled to be made in February 2020.
