Applying Korea's first patented Korean-style system windows and doors, solidifying its position in the public procurement market
Cheomdan Hanok Changho (CEO Lee Won-yong) is boosting its brand recognition by winning a series of orders for Korean-style system windows and doors on hanok buildings commissioned by public institutions. The company's strategy is to solidify its position in the public procurement market on the strength of the differentiated durability and insulation of its Korean-style system windows and doors, the first of their kind to be patented in Korea.
Cheomdan Hanok Changho announced that it supplied and installed Korean-style system windows and doors—including casement windows, fixed windows, and automatic doors—at the Baekgang Cultural Center in Buyeo, which opened on December 19.
The Baekgang Cultural Center is a hanok built as part of the Buyeo-eup Rural Hub Revitalization Project, boasting a total floor area of 406.26㎡. The first floor operates as a tourist-oriented facility, featuring a traveler's rest area, unmanned lockers, a nursing room, and a craft promotion hall. The second floor is planned to serve as the Baekgang Gallery, a space for exhibiting works by artists.
Cheomdan Hanok Changho's Korean-style system windows and doors are hybrid products combining wood and aluminum. The door panels and frames provide even stronger support for the hanok's sujang lines and can be used semi-permanently without sagging or warping. The airtight hinges and double gaskets deliver excellent insulation and airtightness, cutting heating and cooling costs while also blocking external noise.
Cheomdan Hanok Changho's production facilities are optimized not only for public procurement projects but also for supplying large-scale hanok sites. Unlike conventional hanok window and door factories, the company has built and operates an automated production system covering lamination, cutting, processing, assembly, and painting, enabling mass production and consistent quality control.

Meanwhile, Cheomdan Hanok Changho has earned recognition for its quality by supplying and installing Korean-style system windows and doors at public procurement projects—including the Suwon Paldal-gu Cultural Center, the Banghak-dong Hanok Library, the Seunggawon Hope and Happiness Village, the Yeongju Culture Theme Park, and the Cheorwon Gungye Theme Park—as well as at major Buddhist temples and hanok complexes across the country.
