Korea’s largest construction, architecture and interior expo, with 950 companies participating
Seven related industry exhibitions co-hosted to foster shared growth
‘2024 KOREA BUILD,’ Korea’s largest specialized exhibition for construction, architecture and interiors, hosted by exhibition specialist Messe Esang Co., Ltd., will be held from February 21 to 24 at KINTEX in Ilsan. This exhibition co-hosts seven related industry shows that can grow together with the construction and architecture industries, forming ‘2024 KOREA BUILD WEEK’ across the entire KINTEX Hall 1.
The KOREA BUILD exhibition will be held on a scale of 950 companies and 3,000 booths, presenting special programs that reflect noteworthy policies and industry trends: △the Building Tools Industry Show △the Shading & Windows/Doors Industry Show △the Carbon Neutral Architecture Special Pavilion △the Interior Design Korea Special Pavilion. In addition, matching programs for end-users and buyers in architecture and interiors, along with professional conferences and seminars based on the latest industry issues, will be held together.
[Building Tools Industry Show] Leading domestic and international tool brands used in the construction, architecture and interior markets take part, showcasing power tools as well as many other types of tools. Visitors can directly experience and compare power tools along with woodworking tools, equipment tools, measuring tools, hand tools, landscaping tools and more. A new-product demonstration booth space is also provided, offering a faster look at new products.
[Shading & Windows/Doors Industry Show] As Korea’s only specialized exhibition related to the shading and windows/doors industry, it displays high-function, high-efficiency products and technologies. In particular, it puts the spotlight on new BIPV technologies combined with windows and doors, such as multifunctional BIPV window/door systems and solar power generation system windows.
[Carbon Neutral Architecture Special Pavilion] As the roadmap to make zero-energy building certification mandatory by 2030 is implemented, the zero-energy building market is projected to grow to around 180 trillion won by 2050. In step with government policies and changes in the market environment, the pavilion introduces domestic and international building materials, renewable energy technologies and green technologies for realizing ‘carbon neutrality’ and ‘zero energy.’ In previous exhibitions, construction companies, industry professionals and users took part to experience and verify a variety of carbon-neutrality-related technologies.
[Interior Design Korea Special Pavilion] The pavilion exhibits a wide range of interior products that make up a space, including interior finishing materials, flooring, finishing materials and objets. By creating this special pavilion, it connects buyers and suppliers and supports design-based business.
[Building Owner & Interior End-User Consultation Hall] Prospective building owners with clear construction plans for country houses, mixed-use commercial buildings, villas and the like, as well as interior clients who have drawn up remodeling and interior plans for various spaces such as residential and commercial spaces, can receive comparative consultations with multiple experts in one place. Visitors check information on participating companies in advance and select the companies they wish to consult with. If desired, they can pre-apply for on-site consultation at the exhibition and receive consultations tailored to their own conditions. Special promotions are also offered to those who apply in advance.
[Renewable Energy & Heating/Cooling, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Design·Construction Consulting Hall] Clients wishing to carry out construction related to renewable energy and heating, cooling, ventilation and air conditioning can meet field-specific experts for one-on-one consultations. Applications for the Consulting Hall can be made on the website, and expert consultations are conducted on-site based on a pre-survey.
[Overseas Buyer Invitation Export Consultation] To help domestic construction/building material and technology companies open up export channels, an export consultation session will be held together with KOTRA by inviting overseas buyers. Through 127 overseas trade offices in 84 countries around the world, about 150 buyers wishing to import Korean construction/building materials from Europe, the Americas, Asia, the Middle East and elsewhere will be recruited, actively supporting domestic companies’ overseas expansion.
Meanwhile, at ‘2024 KOREA BUILD WEEK,’ a total of seven related exhibitions—△Korea Stone Fair △Smart Construction Safety Industry Show △Seoul Shinmun Hoban Shared Growth Expo △OSC EXPO (Modular & Precast Concrete Industry Show) △Building Fire & Disaster Prevention Industry Show △Air Environment Industry Show △Building Maintenance & Management Industry Show—will be held across the entire KINTEX Hall 1, and are expected to seek shared growth in the construction and architecture sectors.
