‘Gongsang: 空像, 共想’ Opens

Coway Gallery, Through the 27th

Coway (co-CEOs Lee Hae-sun and Suh Jang-won), a Best Life Solution company, is holding the themed exhibition ‘Gongsang: 空像, 共想,’ which interprets Coway's design philosophy and direction through artistic inspiration, at the Coway Gallery in G-TOWER in Guro-dong through August 27.

The title of the first themed exhibition unveiled at the Coway Gallery, ‘Gongsang: 空像, 共想,’ carries the meaning of reflecting together on the origins and essence of nature and objects through forms that have been emptied and pared down. It was conceived on the basis of Coway's design philosophy, which stays true to unembellished, intrinsic value and creates a delicate, restrained aesthetic.

In this exhibition, the simple yet harmonious design that Coway has recently showcased through products such as its Noble water purifiers and air purifiers is reinterpreted as abstractions of nature by collaborating artists including the creative designer studio Lee Woo Archive and the botanical designer Eltravai.

Coway's themed exhibition ‘Gongsang: 空像, 共想’ is open to everyone free of charge, with viewing hours from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturdays. It is closed every Sunday, Monday, and public holiday.

Song Hyun-ju, head of the Coway Design Center, said, “This exhibition was arranged to convey the essence and identity of Coway's business as an environmental home appliance company and to share the aesthetics of emptiness that Coway pursues with consumers,” adding, “We will continue to present a variety of activities using culture as a medium and communicate actively with our customers going forward.”
