Unveils 'Airmega'
Coway participated in the '2024 International Home + Housewares Show (IHS),' held from March 17 to 19 at McCormick Place in Chicago, USA, where it unveiled its North America-oriented Airmega air purifier lineup and accelerated its push into the North American air purifier market.
The Chicago Housewares Show is North America's largest consumer-goods exhibition, held since 1939, and is regarded as one of the world's top three consumer-goods fairs alongside Germany's Ambiente and the Hong Kong Houseware Fair.
At this exhibition, Coway showcased 13 North America-oriented air purifiers and two bidets. The highlight among them was the large-capacity air purifier 'Airmega ProX,' which has been standing out in the North American market thanks to its powerful performance. The Coway Airmega ProX is a high-capacity air purifier specialized for multi-use facilities such as schools, offices, and hospitals, and its powerful filter system and wide coverage area drew great attention from buyers and visitors throughout the exhibition.
In particular, this product earned the top score in a performance evaluation of 186 North American air purifiers conducted by the U.S. consumer media outlet Consumer Reports, receiving excellent ratings for pollutant-removal performance, power efficiency, and low noise levels.
A Coway official said, "Through this exhibition, we once again confirmed that the Coway Airmega air purifier is receiving high marks from North American consumers, media, and buyers, solidifying its position as a leader in the air purifier market," adding, "We will continue to lead the global air purifier market through innovative products and services."
