Products That Have Long Exceeded Their Service Life
SK Magic (CEO Kim Wan-sung) announced that it is running a trade-in program through September 30 for the Climm dishwasher products covered by the voluntary recall it has been conducting since late November of last year, aimed at protecting consumer rights and strengthening safety management.
The products covered are the 6-place-setting dishwasher 'Climm,' manufactured from January 2010 to July 2018 during the Dongyang Magic era—16 models that are subject to a voluntary recall as they have far exceeded their service life. (Eligible models: △DWA0655U △DWA0657U △DWA0682P △DWA0691G △DWA1650P △DWA1670P △DWA1672P △DWA1675P △DWA1676P △DWA1677P △DWA1678P △DWA1810P △DWA1811P △DWA1812P △DWA60ROP △DWA61ROP) To apply, customers enter the code number of the product they currently own on the trade-in application page within the official online mall 'SK Magic Mall' and submit a product return request, after which they can purchase the '6-Place-Setting Triple Care Dishwasher (model name: DWA19R0P10BL)' for 399,000 won, a discount of 300,000 won.
An SK Magic official said, "Through active collaboration with the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards, we successfully completed this voluntary recall, further enhancing customer trust, and going forward we will spare no investment or effort to provide customers with safe products."
Meanwhile, SK Magic recently achieved the feat of winning the 'Energy Grand Prize' and the 'Korea Energy Agency President's Award' for its 'One Coke Ice Water Purifier (model name: WPU-IAC403)' at the 26th Energy Winner Awards ceremony.
