'Essential' Chosen as the Theme
Home CC Interior, the interior design brand of KCC Glass (Chairman Chung Mong-ik), announced that it has held '2023/24 TRENDIVE,' an interior design trend seminar.
TRENDIVE is a seminar that analyzes this year's model house trends and selects and introduces the interior trends to watch for next year, targeting representatives from major client companies such as construction firms, architectural offices, interior companies, and home appliance manufacturers. Held as a webinar (web + seminar) via an online platform due to concerns over the resurgence of COVID-19, this seminar was a great success, with around 600 people from approximately 150 companies in attendance.
At this seminar, Home CC Interior selected 'Essential' as the main theme of its 2023/24 interior trends, aiming to raise awareness of the importance of the essential amid today's increasingly uncertain life. In addition, through three sub-themes—△Balance in daily life, △Expression of individuality, and △Trace of nature—it proposed interior trends grounded in social issues and a variety of cases.
'Balance in daily life' is an emotional interior that pursues a minimalist concept with a warm and soft feel, themed around a lifestyle that seeks to maintain balance in everyday life through emotional recovery.
'Expression of individuality' is an interior themed around a space of expression for those who wish to express their opinions amid the shift toward a nano society, characterized by bold surface divisions, vivid colors, and bold patterns.
'Trace of nature' is an interior motivated by the fusion of the natural and the artificial, themed around the meaning of coexistence with nature based on a new perspective on nature.
