Real Estate Metaverse Solution
Parallel Space, Organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups
COMMAX VenturusX announced that Parallel Space (CEO Lee Ji-eun), a real estate metaverse solution company, has been selected for ‘TIPS,’ a technology startup investment program organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
Parallel Space provides an ‘online real estate tour’ service that recreates the spaces we occupy in virtual reality based on real-world imagery. Through this, consumers can grasp a space free from the constraints of time and place.
Parallel Space’s real estate tours consist of ‘three-dimensional spatial data acquired using LiDAR sensors’ and ‘high-resolution panoramic images.’ Unlike other companies’ online tours produced solely from ‘360-degree images,’ Parallel Space provides distortion-free information. This information is characterized by accurate measurements within a margin of error of 5 mm and the ability to freely change the viewpoint.
Meanwhile, following its selection as a member of the Gyeonggi Content Agency’s 6th NRP cohort, the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund’s 10th Startup NEST cohort, and its Grand Prize win at KAMCO’s Digital New Deal Startup Competition Using Public Data, Parallel Space has now been selected for this TIPS program and is pursuing the advancement of its business.
Rather than stopping at conventional online real estate tours, Parallel Space is developing ‘in-tour 3D interaction’ that enables interaction with users, so that offline experiences can be extended online across a wider range of fields. Starting with the ‘IoT technology-linked online tour’ unveiled through the joint business model development with COMMAX, an affiliate of COMMAX VenturusX, the company is expected to expand its business to include ‘defect repair for apartment complexes and online town guidance’ and ‘3D retail shopping space experiences.’
COMMAX VenturusX is a startup accelerator. By providing systematic development programs to startups with outstanding ideas in the fields of Home IoT, Smart Home, and artificial intelligence (AI), it creates collaboration models and supports the entire value chain so that startups can enter the Fourth Industrial Revolution market and grow independently and sustainably on their own.
