Bosch's Power Tools division (division head Park Jin-hong), a global leader in the power tool field, announced that it is running the ‘Pro Safety, With Bosch’ product event—designed to make professional work environments even safer—through February 28.
This event covers seven professional-grade 18V cordless tool kits, including impact drivers (GDR 18V-210C, GDX 18V-210C), drill drivers (GSR 18V-60C, GSB 18V-60C), an angle grinder (GWS 18V-10), a hammer drill (GBH 18V-26), and a circular saw (GKS 18V-68 GC). This product lineup is characterized by powerful output combined with safety features tailored to each tool, such as kickback control, drop control, and an intelligent brake.
During the event period, every customer who purchases a kit product will receive one Bosch ‘ProCORE 18V Starter Kit.’ The starter kit consists of one Bosch ProCORE 18V 4.0Ah battery and one ‘GAL 18V-40’ fast charger.
In addition, after the event ends, a prize drawing will award the soon-to-be-released Bosch open-type tool bag ‘GWT 20’ (100 winners), a BESPOKE Cube refrigerator (1 winner), a Nespresso Vertuo Plus (3 winners), and Samsung Galaxy Buds (5 winners).
To enter the event, photograph your kit purchase receipt and register the product on the Bosch membership site (https://www.bosch-event.co.kr/member/). Both the product purchase and the registration must be completed during the event period, and participation is limited to one entry per person. Taxes and public charges are borne by the winners.
Meanwhile, Bosch Power Tools has set ‘power’ and ‘safety’ as its core elements this year and plans to continuously promote safety features specialized for professional work.
The electronic motor protection feature built into the GDR 18V-210C protects the motor from overload during extended work. The bolt-drop prevention feature of the GDX 18V-210C automatically stops just before a bolt or nut is completely loosened during reverse-direction work to loosen bolts and nuts, preventing accidents in which bolts and nuts fall.
The kickback control of the GSR/GSB 18V-60C stops the tool on its own when recoil occurs due to a sudden overload, such as catching on an obstacle, preventing wrist injuries. In addition, the drop control of the GWS 18V-10 halts operation if the tool falls and hits the ground during work, preventing safety accidents.
The vibration control feature of the GBH 18V-26 reduces the vibration generated during work through a handle design optimized for vibration reduction. In the case of the intelligent brake system built into the GKS 18V-68 GC, the motor brake activates in just 0.5 seconds to prevent unexpected accidents.
