LG Hausys announced that it held a flea market event, ‘Z:IN X Madam Marché Premium Living Market,’ selling a variety of living and interior products at Z:IN Square, the LG Hausys flagship store located in Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul.
This flea market event was organized to broadly promote ‘LG Hausys Z:IN Square’ as a complex cultural space that blends interior design and trends, and to introduce customers to a wide range of distinctive living and interior products. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the children’s welfare facility ‘SOS Children’s Village’ to help improve the welfare of underprivileged children.
A total of 14 lifestyle brands took part in the event as sellers, offering a variety of living products such as interior accessories, fabrics, tableware, kitchenware and accessories, along with eco-friendly food, all at prices lower than the market rate. The event drew a large crowd, with around 400 customers visiting the venue.
In particular, actor Lee Seo-jin, who serves as an LG Hausys model, took part in the event as an honorary seller, drawing the attention of customers who visited the site. Lee Seo-jin not only toured the venue but also personally spent time selling living accessories. In addition, he spent time interacting with many customers, holding an autograph session for sellers and customers and taking commemorative photos.
The event also featured a rich array of promotions, including a Mickey & Minnie hand wash gifted to the first 100 people who followed the LG Hausys Z:IN account (@lghausys_zin) and the flea market account (@madam_marche) on Instagram, and an air-purifying plant gifted to the first 100 people who regrammed an event post from the LG Hausys Z:IN account. Through these promotions, the number of followers on the LG Hausys Z:IN Instagram account increased by nearly 300, drawing an enthusiastic response from many people.
An LG Hausys official said, “We hope this living market provided an opportunity to see at a glance not only a variety of interior accessories but also the premium building materials that LG Hausys offers, such as wallpaper and flooring,” adding, “Going forward, we will continue to develop Z:IN Square into a space for experiencing interior trends, rather than a mere product display space.”
Meanwhile, Z:IN Square is LG Hausys’ flagship store located on the furniture street in Nonhyeon-dong, Seoul. Spanning a total area of 1,690㎡ (about 510 pyeong), it is a complex cultural space that combines exhibition, seminar and rest areas. Since opening in 2014, it has established itself as a leading interior showroom offering comprehensive solutions for consumers, from materials consultation and design proposals to connections with construction firms.
