'NEXUS Flagship Seoul' Marks Its 2nd Anniversary
"We will grow into the 'design hub' that represents high-end residential culture"
'NEXUS Flagship Seoul,' the high-end interior showroom of Hanssem Nexus Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Young-sik), has marked its 2nd anniversary and announced its plan to develop 'NEXUS Flagship Seoul' into a design hub for Korea's high-end interior market.
Located in Hakdong, Seoul, 'NEXUS Flagship Seoul' opened in November 2019 with a floor area of 3,300㎡ (about 1,000 pyeong), spanning two basement levels and six above-ground floors. The showroom presents a total of 16 luxury imported brands, including the Italian furniture brands 'Molteni&C' and 'Dada,' as well as the world-renowned lighting brand 'FontanaArte,' 'GESSI (faucets),' 'Laufen (bathroom),' and 'Kettal (outdoor furniture).'
A defining feature of 'NEXUS Flagship Seoul' is that it offers a one-stop proposal for all the products needed to furnish a home—not only furniture, but also fabrics and building materials. It also showcases a variety of experiential spaces for high-end interior customers, such as the 'Real House' exhibit, which recreates the floor plan of an 80-pyeong-class penthouse and is decorated just like an actual home.
'NEXUS Flagship Seoul' continues to grow, driven by rising B2B (Business to Business) sales in the premium market of penthouses and hotels, along with increasing B2C (Business to Consumer) sales fueled by the recent surge of interest in high-end home interiors.
Through October of this year, sales at 'NEXUS Flagship Seoul' rose approximately 40% compared to the same period last year. In particular, sales of 'Dada,' regarded as one of the world's top three luxury kitchen brands, 'Porcelanosa,' Spain's leading ceramic tile brand, and 'Kettal,' a world-renowned outdoor furniture brand, more than doubled year-on-year.
As the leader in Korea's high-end total interior segment, 'NEXUS Flagship Seoul' plans to continue introducing premium products tailored to Korean lifestyles. In addition, it aims to grow into the design hub of Korea's high-end interior market by supporting Korean interior designers in participating directly in the design work of famous overseas brands.
An official from Hanssem Nexus said, "Since the recent opening of the 'NEXUS Flagship Seoul' store, famous overseas furniture brand stores have opened one after another nearby, and the Hakdong Station commercial district is growing into the center of the high-end interior market," adding, "We will continue to develop it into a landmark that represents Korea's premium residential culture."
