Online Hanssem Mall

63 furniture items including desks and dining tables

Hanssem Co., Ltd. (CEO Kang Seung-soo), a comprehensive home interior specialist, announced that it has launched an overnight delivery service for 63 furniture items on its online Hanssem Mall.

Hanssem introduced this service to provide customers with an even more convenient online home interior shopping experience. In particular, the company expects the service to benefit customers such as dual-income households and single-person households, who often have difficulty receiving their orders because they are away from home for long periods.

The furniture eligible for Hanssem's overnight delivery service totals 63 items, including topper mattresses, desks, bookshelves, dining tables, and cabinets. The service applies to DIY (Do It Yourself) furniture that customers assemble themselves. Orders completed before 12 p.m. are delivered early the next morning or in the early hours of the following day.

The overnight delivery service is currently operated in the Seoul area. Hanssem plans to expand the service to the greater metropolitan area and beyond in the future by upgrading its logistics system.

Hanssem expects that, as the overnight delivery service expands, it will not only enhance customer convenience but also improve delivery logistics efficiency by roughly twofold.

Kim Tae-wook, Executive Director of Hanssem's Online Business Division, said, "We introduced the furniture overnight delivery service to provide an even more differentiated online home interior shopping experience," adding, "On Hanssem Mall, we offer a differentiated shopping experience through features such as live commerce broadcasts that enable real-time communication and a 3D Real Viewer that lets customers virtually place furniture, so we hope customers will take great interest."

Meanwhile, Hanssem continues to innovate its delivery and installation services. In February 2019, Hanssem became the first in the furniture industry to introduce a next-day delivery service. In July of last year, the company expanded its next-day delivery lineup from the previous 30 items to 700 items, revamping the service into "Naemam Delivery," which allows customers to designate their desired delivery date anywhere from a minimum of 1 day to 30 days out.
