Hanssem Co., Ltd. (CEO Kang Seung-soo), a comprehensive home interior specialist, announced that it has earned the Consumer Centered Management (CCM) certification, which is certified by the Fair Trade Commission and administered by the Korea Consumer Agency. Following its certifications in 2010, 2012, 2015 and 2017, Hanssem received its certification last year for a total of five times.
The Consumer Centered Management (CCM) certification system evaluates and certifies, every two years, whether a company organizes all of its management activities around the consumer and continuously improves them.
Hanssem, which began as a kitchen furniture company in 1970, expanded into the household furniture segment in 1997, and has recently been delivering customer satisfaction by introducing the Hanssem Rehaus package, which proposes everything from furniture to building materials all at once.
In April last year, the company extended the quality warranty period for its premium kitchen furniture brand ‘Kitchen Bach’ to up to 10 years and launched a free kitchen inspection service. A key feature of this service is that it operates as a before-service (B/S) rather than an after-service (A/S) concept requested when a problem occurs with a product. Three times in total—six months, one year and three years after installation—a service technician visits the customer’s home to inspect the hood, cooktop, faucet, doors, drains and more.
Hanssem has established the creation of a management system for customer satisfaction as its management policy, placing its own CS Center directly under the CEO (Chief Executive Officer). Here, it is carrying out a variety of activities to maximize customer satisfaction, such as a specialized KakaoTalk consultation service and the production of self-service video content.
In addition, Hanssem provides customers with a convenient consultation service by operating ‘Home Planner,’ a three-dimensional (3D) consultation program that utilizes virtual reality (VR) technology. With floor plans for some 40,000 apartments nationwide, customers can virtually arrange desired products in advance, reducing trial and error in decorating their homes.
