Hanssem Co., Ltd. (CEO Kang Seung-soo), a comprehensive home interior specialist, is taking the lead in win-win management by jointly developing products with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and helping them open up new sales channels.
Hanssem announced that it has launched the 'Good Products Exhibition,' co-planned with SMEs, on its own online shopping mall Hanssem Mall, where it is showcasing competitive SME products.
The Good Products initiative is a joint development project between Hanssem and carefully selected SMEs. As the industry's No. 1 company, Hanssem has teamed up with some 70 SMEs that boast competitive pricing, quality, and design in order to supply reliable, high-quality products at reasonable prices.
This project is drawing a strong response, both because a large corporation is leading shared growth by helping SMEs open up sales channels, and because it presents good products to consumers at affordable prices.
The 'Good Products' lineup consists of co-planned products offered exclusively under the joint brand names of Hanssem and its SME partners, as well as products from participating brands. The co-planned products are released through collaboration between Hanssem and the SMEs after passing Hanssem's rigorous standards, guaranteeing outstanding quality.
The entire process—from planning to development and launch—is carried out through collaboration. Hanssem strengthens quality through development and planning, and provides full support extending to marketing, such as expanding distribution to external malls. In addition, products from highly capable SMEs are supported for display and sale not only online but also in Hanssem's offline stores, contributing to brand promotion and sales growth.
Indeed, among the participating companies, Cielo—discovered by Hanssem—demonstrated excellent manufacturing capability and quality, and jointly developed with Hanssem a wide range of products for various spaces, including sofas, beds, dining tables, and desks. In particular, its sofas/beds made with fabric-textured leather materials and its extendable dining tables are credited with introducing new trends to the market.
Pasein, a solid brand made up of experts with more than 10 years of experience at Hanssem, launched a series of reasonably priced ceramic dining tables that drew a strong response. As ceramic dining tables gained widespread popularity, the brand's recognition rose, with its portal brand store climbing to the top of search rankings.
To mark this collaboration, Hanssem Mall is selling a wide range of Good Products at special prices—from furniture to household items, including hangers, trash bins, storage boxes, sofas, bathroom accessories, tables, and small furniture. Purchases come with discounts of up to about 58%, and customers who write photo product reviews after buying can earn up to 900 Hanssem Mall points.
A Hanssem Mall official said, "Hanssem is leading the way in win-win cooperation by supporting the capability building, distribution expansion, and future self-driven growth of SMEs that, despite excellent manufacturing capabilities, fall short in terms of quality and distribution expansion," adding, "Through the jointly planned products this time, the companies' product manufacturing capabilities and quality have been verified, and based on this, the companies are preparing to open up yet more sales channels."
