Enhanced Convenience & Content

Reorganized Categories

Hanssem Co., Ltd. has completely overhauled the Hanssem Mall mobile app and web pages. Hanssem reorganized its UI (user interface) and product categories to improve convenience, allowing customers to search for the information they want more quickly. In addition, the company significantly expanded content that can help customers make their choices, such as the key features of each product category. Through this, Hanssem plans to carry on the expertise and heritage it has built over the past 54 years as Korea's No. 1 home interior company, while further strengthening its own brand identity that continues to evolve with the times.

First, the main categories were clearly divided into two—'Home Furnishing' and 'Interior'—making it easy for customers to find information on the products or service categories they want. In addition, the detailed product categories, which previously numbered around 330, were reduced to about 190, so customers can browse the information they want without frequently navigating between pages.

The product page design was also organized for consistency. At the very top of product categories such as kitchen, hotel beds, and sofas, content introducing the key features of each product through short videos, images, and text was placed. This is intended to help customers intuitively check a variety of information about the products.

The existing Omni-Channel service continues to be offered as well. Omni-Channel refers to a service that helps customers search for or purchase products through various paths, moving freely between online and offline. Through services such as store finding and store consultation reservations, customers can easily visit a store to view products in person; conversely, if there is a product whose details a customer is curious about while browsing an offline store, they can check it on Hanssem Mall via a QR code.

Kim Jae-rim, Executive Director and head of Hanssem's Marketing Division, said, "Hanssem was the first to attempt digital transformation in the furniture industry, which had centered on offline customer attraction and sales, and has provided customer experiences never before seen in the home interior field." He added, "We expect that the UI, content, and search and purchase journey design—all further strengthened through this overhaul—will lead to enhanced brand competitiveness."
