Experience natural-material play that you'll want to enjoy on the floor once again, in a sensory way
Hansol Homedeco, a company specializing in eco-friendly building materials, drew attention with its participation in 'Seoul Design 2022,' held at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) from October 19 to 28.
'Seoul Design 2022' is one of Korea's leading design festivals, hosted by the Seoul Metropolitan Government and organized by the Seoul Design Foundation. Through its exhibition hall themed 'Let's Play on the Floor Again, lasola maru moments,' Hansol Homedeco offered visitors the experience of reclaiming the various spaces they had inevitably lost while living through the COVID-19 pandemic. To this end, Hansol Homedeco brought its 'sb maru' flooring directly to the public, creating an experience of natural-material play to enjoy on the floor once again in a sensory way. Upon entering the lasola experience hall, visitors found a variety of play activities they could enjoy together with Hansol Homedeco's diverse products, prepared as random play boxes, allowing them to sit down on the experience flooring and enjoy them firsthand. In particular, the play sets—all made of nature-friendly materials—were richly composed of Jenga, yut nori, dominoes, and gonggi (Korean jacks), earning an enthusiastic response from visitors. In addition, the experience hall displayed a variety of flooring patterns that visitors could touch and experience for themselves, including ▲'Dawn Natural Oak,' with the realistic texture of oak solid wood; ▲'Dawn White Oak,' which adds a natural solid-wood texture to a soft white tone; ▲'Painted Black,' with a realistic touch to its wood grain and a sophisticated feel that only black can deliver; and ▲'Painted Pink,' which adds a pink mood to create a bright yet lovely space.
Furthermore, Hansol Homedeco held an event in which visitors to the exhibition hall who uploaded their participation photos to Instagram with hashtags (#lasola #sbmaru #bubblewhite) received a lasola moments mini bag.
In addition, at the 'Pet Village' set up in the DDP Eoullim Square, visitors could experience 'Hansol Pet Maru,' Hansol Homedeco's flooring product tailored for companion animals, which also drew attention. 'Hansol Pet Maru' is a flooring product exclusively for pets. To prevent injuries to active companion animals that run and jump around the house, it is the first in Korea to apply anti-slip technology within an appropriate range for pet safety. In addition, 'Hansol Pet Maru' is made with highly water-resistant materials, reducing contamination and odors caused by pet waste and helping maintain a pleasant indoor environment. In particular, it is an eco-friendly product completely free of formaldehyde and is highly resistant to staining. Its surface material has also received SIAA (Japanese antibacterial) certification, providing antibacterial and antifungal functions for worry-free use.
Meanwhile, at the 'Hansol Pet Maru' experience zone, a pet photo event was held in which visitors who took photos of their pets and uploaded them to their Instagram posts with the required tags (#hansolpetmaru #dogmaru #petvillage) received an Egg R mask pack. The zone also drew visitors' attention with various events, including awarding a dog café studio photo-shoot voucher for photos selected as 'Best of Best.' 080-777-2299
