Hanwha L&C is drawing attention as it solidifies its position as a premium window and door brand, following its success this past March at Gwacheon Weaver Field with a top-of-the-line balcony double window spec-in at the model house of Cheolsan Central Prugio, a reconstruction apartment complex in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi Province, built by Daewoo E&C.

The achievement is all the more significant as it comes just four months after the premium windows were spec-in at the Gwacheon Weaver Field reconstruction complex model house this past March.

The apartment complex to which Hanwha L&C's premium balcony double windows will be applied is 'Gwangmyeong Cheolsan Central Prugio,' a reconstruction complex being newly built in the Cheolsan-dong area of Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi Province, comprising 7 buildings with 2 basement levels and 29 stories above ground, for a total of 798 households.

As the first newly built reconstruction apartment complex to rise in Cheolsan-dong, Gwangmyeong—an area that has seen no new apartment supply over the past 10 years—it is drawing attention, emerging as a 'hot place' in the reconstruction market of the southwestern Gyeonggi region.

The product applied this time is a top-of-the-line balcony double window developed by Hanwha L&C through technical cooperation with 'REHAU,' one of Germany's three major PVC window and door companies. The lower part of the window is a fixed type with inserted glass, while the upper part is a sliding-type divided-elevation window.

A key feature is that it maximizes the view since there is no need to separately install an external railing. By adding the L/S (Lift & Sliding) function typically applied to system windows, it offers excellent airtightness and perfectly blocks out external noise. A frame-style design with an edge effect on the corners of the window frame adds an air of sophistication.

A Hanwha L&C official said, "The application of windows to this Gwangmyeong Central Prugio model house is highly significant, as we have applied top-of-the-line windows developed in collaboration with Germany's 'REHAU' to a new reconstruction complex just 3 to 4 months after spec-in of premium windows at the Gwacheon Weaver Field reconstruction complex model house this past March," adding, "Going forward, through technical cooperation with 'REHAU,' Germany's leading window and door company, we plan to present differentiated windows and, through active sales, take the lead in shaping Korea's premium residential culture."
