Noroo Paint is carrying out a color collaboration in partnership with 'High Island,' the exhibition planning company behind the 'Happy Inside' exhibition that opened at the War Memorial of Korea in Yongsan. 'Happy Inside,' a trendy and unconventional play-culture space, was created through the collaboration of its entire set of booths with Noroo Paint, and it is an event that drew attention even before opening, with early-bird tickets selling out through the second round.
For the color planning, Noroo Paint collaborated with director Park Seo-young of 'Art of Seoyoung'—an art team for idol music videos—and the 'High Island' team to stage the entire exhibition using 'Noroo Premium Pantone Paint' colors based on the 2019 trend color selected by the U.S.-based Pantone.
'Happy Inside' combines happiness with the emoticons that express the various emotions of everyday life, infusing the space with color to capture the emotions found within the cycle of five themes—<Everyday–Chaos–Escape–Joy–Delight>. Within a space staged with visual sculptures brimming with happy imagination, the exhibition sought to offer an experience of each individual gaze directed toward happiness.
This exhibition presented an emotional space based on pink, which heals emotions, and yellow, which expresses happiness, where visitors can open, peer into, search through, and play with the works, so that in a space decorated with color they can discover with their families the happiness of the imagination through the happy messages about color hidden throughout.
Using Pantone's high-chroma colors, Noroo Paint staged booths in color spaces across five themes optimized for photography, where visitors can discover the colors of everyday happiness. They can also experience a nature-themed promotional zone created using 'Living Coral,' Pantone's Color of the Year, and take commemorative photos within the exhibition hall.
An official from 'FM Communications,' the event's host, said, "If you want to experience a more unconventional play culture all in one place with friends, partners, or family, we recommend 'Happy Inside,'" adding, "With 'Noroo Pantone Paint' bringing the colors to life through this collaboration, we expect the exhibition to achieve even greater results."
