Samsung C&T to Provide

Differentiated Services to Existing Residential Complexes

Samsung C&T has joined hands with a specialist in residential complex management and operation to fully expand the service of its home platform brand ‘Homenic.’

Samsung C&T’s Engineering & Construction Group (hereinafter Samsung C&T) announced that it will sign a strategic business agreement with Tower PMC at the Raemian Gallery in Munjeong-dong, Songpa-gu, Seoul, to introduce ‘Homenic’ to existing residential complexes.

‘Homenic’ is a home platform that allows residents to access all aspects of residential living—including digital smart home services as well as cultural activities and health management—through a single app. Samsung C&T launched the dedicated app in August last year and first applied it at Raemian One Bailey, providing residents with a diverse range of convenient services.

Founded in 2002, Tower PMC is a comprehensive residential management service company that professionally manages and operates landmark residential facilities in their respective areas, beginning with Tower Palace in Dogok-dong and including Jamsil Galleria Palace, Yongsan Hannam The Hill, and Raemian One Bailey, which was occupied last year. The signing ceremony will be attended by key officials from both companies, including Samsung C&T Housing Business Division Head and Executive Vice President Kim Myung-seok and Tower PMC Vice Chairman Kang Min-soo, who will discuss cooperative measures to extend the ‘Homenic’ service to existing apartment complexes under a variety of brands. The two companies have agreed to create synergy by combining Samsung C&T’s innovative life solutions with Tower PMC’s complex management and operation know-how in order to apply the ‘Homenic’ service not only to new complexes but also to existing apartment complexes.

Samsung C&T plans to introduce the service to residential complexes in areas such as Seoul and Busan as early as the first half of this year, and intends to pursue ongoing collaboration that can enhance residents’ quality of living and the value of the complexes.

Kim Myung-seok, Head of Samsung C&T’s Housing Business Division (Executive Vice President), said, “We have laid the foundation to expand ‘Homenic,’ an essential app for residential living, and we plan to further enhance the value of housing by providing differentiated services that take into account the characteristics of each complex and the lifestyles of its residents.”
