Applying 'Next Home' Technology
Secures KRW 4.3 Trillion in Housing Orders This Year

Homeniq, the next-generation residential living platform from Samsung C&T Engineering & Construction Group (hereinafter Samsung C&T), has taken hold rapidly, with the number of households using it surpassing 50,000.
Samsung C&T recently announced that it has decided to apply Homeniq to Mullae Hillstate, an older apartment complex located in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. Completed in 2003, Mullae Hillstate will be reborn as a complex that reflects the latest smart living trends through the introduction of Homeniq. Through the Homeniq app, residents can conveniently access a variety of services—normally available in new complexes—all in a single app. The Home Ground menu allows residents to check maintenance fees, take part in surveys, and use communication features such as those for the residents' representative council. The complex will also adopt the advanced security system 'Homeniq One Pass' to provide a convenient and secure access environment. In addition, once complex-specific solutions are introduced, residents can use a range of convenient functions through Homeniq, including IoT control, community facility reservations, and visitor vehicle registration. Having expanded Homeniq primarily through new complexes, Samsung C&T has also applied the Homeniq platform to existing complexes such as Mullae Hillstate and Banpo Acro River Park, bringing the current number of households using it in older complexes to more than 6,000 across eight complexes. Going forward, Samsung C&T plans to significantly enhance Homeniq's features and expand its ecosystem by actively proposing the adoption of Homeniq not only for new and existing complexes, but also for complexes with upcoming bids—such as Hannam District 4, currently out to bid, as well as Yeouido and Apgujeong.
Kim Myung-seok, Executive Vice President of Samsung C&T (Head of the Housing Business Division), said, "Homeniq goes beyond being a simple smart home platform, focusing on improving residents' quality of life," adding, "We will continue to work so that even more residents can experience the convenience and value of Homeniq."
