HomeCC Interior Supporters

Contributing to Designers' Capabilities

KCC Glass (CEO Kim Nae-hwan) held a visit event on July 11 and 12 at its KCC Glass Yeoju Plant and Asan Plant, with the participation of the 2nd class of 'HomeMused,' the supporters group of HomeCC Interior.

HomeMused is a supporters group made up of the award winners of the 'Korea Interior Architecture Competition,' co-hosted by KCC Glass's 'HomeCC Interior' and the 'Korean Society of Interior Architects/Designers (KOSID).' It has continued to carry out a range of activities to broaden the foundation of the interior architecture field and to provide consumers with information on the latest interior trends.

During the visit, the HomeMused members toured the ▲flat glass and coated glass production lines (Yeoju Plant), ▲LVT production line (Asan Plant), and ▲G-PET film production line (Asan Plant), giving them an opportunity to see firsthand KCC Glass's outstanding quality-control capabilities and eco-friendly technology.

Through this plant visit, KCC Glass provided insights to help the members build their capabilities as next-generation interior architecture designers, while also planning to cooperate with them—drawing on their fresh, youthful ideas—to explore ways to widely promote KCC Glass's systematic and eco-friendly production processes to consumers.

Designer Kim Min-jun, a HomeMused member who took part in this visit, said, "Seeing every stage of the production process with my own eyes—from the input of raw materials to the manufacturing and packaging of the finished products—gave me firm confidence in the quality and eco-friendliness of the glass produced by KCC Glass and of HomeCC Interior's materials." He added, "In particular, I was deeply impressed by KCC Glass's efforts toward sustainable, eco-friendly production, such as expanding the use of recycled raw materials in addition to solar power generation."
