Installation of Scandia Moss frames
KCC Glass (CEO Kim Nae-hwan) announced that its ‘HomeCC Volunteer Corps,’ together with the incorporated association ‘Volunteering Culture Korea,’ visited the ‘Ganam Community Children’s Center’ located in Ganam-eup, Yeoju, and carried out an environmental improvement volunteer activity by installing Scandia Moss frames.
Scandia Moss, a natural moss native to Northern Europe, is an air-purifying plant with humidifying and dehumidifying effects, offering excellent indoor humidity control and deodorization. The Scandia Moss frames installed this time were made directly by some 60 KCC Glass executives and employees, adding to the spirit of sharing.
This environmental improvement volunteer activity marks the third such effort, following the installations at ‘Seongbok Happy Home School’ in Seoul this past June and at ‘Korea University Community Children’s Center’ in Incheon in November. The HomeCC Volunteer Corps plans to continue its environmental improvement activities at welfare facilities across the country through the installation of Scandia Moss frames.
A HomeCC official said, “We hope the newly installed Scandia Moss frames will be of some help to the children at the center in living comfortably,” adding, “Leveraging the strengths of HomeCC—an interior specialty brand that knows homes best—we will continue our efforts to improve the residential environment for socially vulnerable groups.”
