Expanding eco-friendly commercial interior business, aggressively targeting the market
Joining forces on telecom carrier stores, construction firm community centers and more
‘HomeCC Interior,’ the specialized interior brand of KCC Glass (CEO Kim Nae-hwan), has signed a business agreement (MOU) with Motus Company to expand its commercial interior business utilizing eco-friendly materials.
HomeCC Interior held a strategic business agreement signing ceremony for commercial interior business cooperation on the 3rd at the KCC Glass Central Research Institute located in Yongin, Gyeonggi Province, attended by officials from both companies including Kim Deok-shin, Executive Vice President of KCC Glass, and Kim Tae-kyung, Director (COO) of Motus Company.
Motus Company is a full-service advertising firm spanning integrated marketing communication (IMC) campaigns, outdoor advertising, exhibitions and events, and also handles space planning, as well as design and construction, for the nationwide stores of major domestic brands.
Through this business agreement, HomeCC Interior plans to supply eco-friendly materials to Motus Company—which carries out interior construction for LG U+ stores and GS E&C community centers—while also supporting the interior construction work.
KCC Glass has recently been aggressively targeting the commercial interior market through HomeCC Interior. In February, it entered the hospital interior business anew by signing a business agreement with Osstem Implant, and in March it launched ‘Sensetile Pro’ and ‘Sensray,’ high-performance LVT flooring products that are easy to install and highly durable and thus widely used in commercial spaces.
A KCC Glass official said, “Compared to typical residential interiors, commercial interiors have higher spatial density and frequent foot traffic, so they require more specialized and eco-friendly construction and materials,” adding, “HomeCC Interior’s key interior products such as flooring and interior films not only hold various eco-friendly certifications including the Environmental Mark and HB Mark, but have also been ranked No. 1 in the Korean Standard-Quality Excellence Index (KS-QEI) and the Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI), earning recognition for their high quality from both consumers and experts.”
