Business agreement with Osstem Implant expands hospital interior design operations

Stable supply and product development of hospital interior products

HomeCC Interior, the specialized interior brand of KCC Glass (CEO Kim Nae-hwan), announced that it is making a full-scale entry into the hospital interior design business together with Osstem Implant.

To this end, HomeCC Interior held a signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the hospital interior design business on February 22 at Osstem Implant's Magok Central Research Institute building in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, with officials from both companies in attendance, including Kim Deok-shin, Executive Vice President of KCC Glass, and Lim Jeong-bin, Head of Osstem Implant's Interior Business Division.

Through this agreement, the two companies decided to cooperate on the stable supply of interior products needed to run the hospital interior design business, as well as on product development aimed at providing differentiated hospital interior services.

Hospital interior products require higher safety and eco-friendliness compared to general products in order to reduce factors that harm patients' health. HomeCC Interior's key interior products, such as flooring and interior films, not only hold various eco-friendly certifications including the Environmental Mark, HB Mark, and the Korea Atopy Association Recommended Product Mark, but have also been selected as No. 1 in the Korean Standard-Quality Excellence Index (KS-QEI) and the Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI), earning recognition for their high quality from both experts and consumers.

In 2016, Osstem Implant expanded beyond its implant and dental equipment sales business into the dental interior design business. It established Korea's only dental interior research institute and has accumulated know-how in hospital interior design, carrying out dental interior projects at as many as 850 locations through last year.

Through its collaboration with Osstem Implant, HomeCC Interior plans to gradually expand its hospital interior design business by increasing the supply of a wide range of hospital interior products while also focusing on developing safe, eco-friendly products suitable for medical facilities.
