Unveils LVT and Other Products Targeting the North American Flooring Market to Favorable Reviews
Products Applying Eco-Friendly Raw Material Blending Technology Expected to Expand Exports
‘HomeCC Interior,’ the interior specialty brand of KCC Glass (Chairman Chung Mong-ik), participated in ‘TISE 2023 (The International Surface Event 2023),’ North America’s largest flooring exhibition, held in Las Vegas, USA, from January 31 to February 2 (local time).
TISE 2023 is a venue for international interior business exchange, drawing key flooring industry officials and buyers from around the world. This year, some 580 companies from various countries took part to showcase the latest flooring technologies and products.
Participating for the second time this year following last year, HomeCC Interior exhibited more than 150 types of ‘LVT (Luxury Vinyl Tile)’ products, for which demand has recently been growing in the North American flooring market, and introduced its ‘one-stop solution’ that delivers the entire process—consultation, design, and production—at once to meet customer needs, earning high praise from many visitors.
LVT is a high-performance flooring material used for both residential and commercial purposes. By applying a layer that reproduces the design of natural materials such as wood and stone, it delivers a premium feel while also being easy to install and highly durable. In 2021, KCC Glass established an LVT production line at its Asan plant, applying the latest process design and a systematic quality control system.
An official from KCC Glass said, “It is meaningful to showcase high-performance flooring products applying the eco-friendly virgin blending technology and foaming technology we have built up over time at North America’s largest flooring exhibition,” adding, “With demand for eco-friendly flooring rising in the North American market recently, we expect the consultations held during this exhibition to lead to expanded exports.”
He also explained, “In particular, at this exhibition we could feel the heightened interest in Korean interiors driven by K-content such as dramas and films. Building on the reputation and know-how we have accumulated in the Korean market—recognized as a global testbed—we will strive to establish HomeCC Interior as a leading brand that introduces K-Interior to the North American market.”
