Two consecutive years as Best Brand of the Year certifies the company's trustworthiness

Protecting consumer rights and interests, and providing reliable service

HomeCC, the interior specialty brand of KCC Glass, earned the honor of winning the Best Brand of the Year category for the second consecutive year at the ‘2020 Korea Consumer Awards’ ceremony held on November 24 at the Sejong Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul.

Organized by the Korea Consumer Association, the Korea Consumer Awards is an annual event that identifies companies and individuals striving to advance consumer rights and interests while enhancing competitiveness, trustworthiness, and public benefit, and that evaluates and commends the excellence and achievements of companies across various fields.

HomeCC was selected as an outstanding brand that won broad consumer support and made a strong impression on consumers throughout the year. In particular, it was highly rated for taking the lead in protecting consumer rights and interests and providing reliable total interior services in an interior market long marked by a significant information imbalance between sellers and consumers—by offering customer-tailored, one-stop solutions ranging from standardized process-based construction to worry-free A/S service.

HomeCC offers a lineup of more than 200 brands and over 30,000 interior materials across its stores nationwide, and operates large-scale building material stores in Incheon and Ulsan as well as showroom-style display and sales outlets in major regions throughout the country. At HomeCC stores, customers can access a wide range of interior-related information and content, and can see interior products in person before purchasing. Customers doing their own interior work can also use services such as paint color matching and cutting wood to their desired dimensions. In addition, HomeCC provides interior consultations and on-site measurements for interior projects, home interior styling proposals, free estimates, and more.

Recently, as ‘home office,’ ‘home training,’ and ‘home cooking’ trends have spread widely amid COVID-19, the uses and meaning of the home are becoming more diverse, and new demands for living spaces are leading to increased demand for the remodeling of older homes. To proactively respond to these changes in the interior market and lead the market, HomeCC has established standardized construction processes, strengthened its network of interior construction partners, and is providing differentiated interior packages.

A KCC Glass official said, “It is all the more meaningful that HomeCC has been chosen by consumers as the best brand for two consecutive years, as it recognizes HomeCC's unique brand value and quality,” adding, “We will continue to do our best to repay consumers' support with interior products that reflect the latest trends and with services our customers can trust.”
