Exhibits ‘HUEVEN S’ and ‘HUZENT’

Himpel Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Jung-hwan), a ventilation appliance company, took part in the ‘2021 Clean Air Expo (CLEAN AIR EXPO 2021)’ held at Exhibition Hall 1 of KINTEX in Ilsan from March 18 to 21. The Clean Air Expo is a specialized air-industry exhibition where new products and new technologies for improving air quality can be encountered all in one place.

At this exhibition, Himpel presented its stand-type ventilation appliance ‘HUEVEN S’ and its bathroom ventilation appliance ‘HUZENT.’ Himpel’s ventilation appliances create clean and comfortable indoor air quality by exchanging indoor and outdoor air. They are equipped with a differentiated function that can lower carbon dioxide concentrations, which are difficult to address with conventional air-purifying product lines.

The flagship product, the stand-type ventilation appliance ‘HUEVEN S,’ applies a UV sterilization system and a high-performance multi-filter system, so it can not only reduce harmful bacteria and viruses floating in the air but also bring in fresh, filtered outdoor air to maintain comfortable indoor air quality.

In addition, because it can keep the indoor air quality fresh over a large area, it is a product suitable for use in multi-use facilities such as classrooms, offices, and daycare centers. Depending on the model, it can be used in spaces of up to 231㎥ (30–50 pyeong), and it can be freely installed to suit the indoor environment and spatial structure.

The ‘HUZENT,’ presented alongside it, is a premium bathroom ventilation appliance that combines not only a ventilation function but also warm-air, drying, and hair/body dry functions. Its dual-applied backflow-prevention electric damper blocks outside air, preventing inconveniences caused by inter-floor smoking and noise that occur in multi-family housing such as apartments and villas.

Meanwhile, at the ‘Conference on Healthy Air Management and Fine Dust Response in the Era of Climate Crisis and COVID-19,’ held concurrently with the Clean Air Expo, Lim Tae-gyu, head of Himpel’s IAQ (Indoor Air Quality) Research Institute, appeared as a speaker on the 19th and presented a case study titled ‘Technology and Field Demonstration Status of System Ventilation Appliances for Multi-use Facilities.’
