Unveils Extensive Ventilation Appliance Lineup at Clean Air Expo

Showcases Upcoming New Products, Including Window-Type Ventilation System

Himpel (CEO Kim Jung-hwan), a company specializing in ventilation appliances, participated in ‘CLEAN AIR EXPO 2022,’ held from March 3 to 6 at Hall 1 of KINTEX in Ilsan.

Clean Air Expo is Korea’s largest air industry exhibition, where new products and technologies for reducing fine dust and improving air quality can all be seen in one place.

At this exhibition, Himpel presented its comprehensive ventilation appliance lineup, capable of providing optimal customized air quality solutions tailored to indoor spaces, situations, and uses. Himpel’s ventilation appliance lineup consists of the Huven series ventilation systems for indoor air ventilation, the Hugentte bathroom exhaust fan, Zerok Prime, and more.

Alongside these, Himpel also unveiled a variety of new ventilation appliances at the exhibition, including a window-type ventilation system slated for release this year, an air cleaner for removing fine dust, and a design-focused Hugentte for bathroom colorterior. In addition, Himpel provided booth visitors with useful information, such as how to choose a ventilation appliance suited to their space and area, and the proper way to maintain indoor air quality through ventilation.

Himpel’s flagship product, the Huven series ventilation system, enables ventilation without opening windows, making it possible to create a more comfortable and safe indoor space. In particular, it has been chosen as a solution that can reduce group infections of the COVID-19 virus by lowering the concentration of indoor droplets. Using Himpel’s ventilation system allows users to easily carry out proper ventilation in accordance with the ventilation guidelines announced by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency (ventilating at least 12 times a day for 10 minutes each), and when operated at maximum airflow, it can remove 88% of the droplets floating in the indoor air within about 10 minutes of use.

A Himpel official said, “We are feeling firsthand that interest in Himpel’s ventilation appliances has greatly increased due to the growing importance of indoor air quality recently,” adding, “We will devote our capabilities to actively participating in various marketing events, including trade shows, to promote Himpel and its ventilation appliances and to create opportunities to expand points of contact with consumers.”
