A Healthy Night's Rest Made from Natural Materials
Total sleep care brand Evezary Co., Ltd. has earned Korea's LOHAS (Lifestyles of Health and Sustainability) certification, administered by the Korean Standards Association, for the 18th consecutive year.
LOHAS certification is granted to the products and services of companies and organizations that prioritize health-, environment-, and society-oriented values and strive for creative product development, service activities, environmental management, and social contribution. Since becoming the first bedding company to receive LOHAS certification in 2007, Evezary has successfully renewed its certification every year through to this year.
In this review, Evezary was recognized for expanding its natural-material bedding and for its ongoing carbon-neutrality campaign efforts, earning consistently high marks across evaluation categories such as health orientation, environmental performance, safety, and social responsibility.
Evezary offers a diverse range of natural-material bedding made from various plant-based fibers—including organic cotton, hanji (traditional Korean paper), and bamboo—through eco-friendly manufacturing processes. It has applied to its bedding the inherent strengths of plant-based raw materials, such as the softness, breathability, and absorbency that promote quality sleep. In addition, the company supports a comfortable sleep environment by applying special antibacterial treatments that use natural ingredients such as silver salts to its products. Evezary is also engaged in socially responsible activities that contribute to achieving carbon neutrality. Its policy is to help create a clean environment in which customers can sleep more healthily. Planting trees each year, the company has created carbon-offset forests spanning 70,000 pyeong in Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province, and 21,901 pyeong in the Hangang Park area of Seoul, respectively. Through these efforts, it also carries out internal and external carbon-neutrality campaigns, including donating carbon credits using its certified voluntary carbon emission rights.
