The Seoul Arts Center (President Yoo In-taek) is hosting the <2020 Seoul Arts Center Autumn Art Market> jointly with the Korean Fine Arts Association, the National Artists Association, and Union Art Fair Co., Ltd. The exhibition runs from November 21 to November 28 at the Seoul Arts Center's Hangaram Design Museum, with free admission.
The <Autumn Art Market> aims to nurture and support artists, with a focus on young talent, while promoting the vitalization of the domestic art scene and active consumption of culture and the arts. Mid-career and veteran artists are also taking part in the exhibition to offer support and encouragement to the young artists. In Exhibition Halls 1 and 2 of the Hangaram Design Museum, visitors can view works by some 70 artists, while Exhibition Hall 3—presented in cooperation with the National Artists Association and Inamu Co., Ltd.—features works by more than 10 aspiring child and youth cartoonists selected through a citizen participation open call by EBS's Gifted Talent Search program.
With participating artists spanning a wide range of ages, from children to veterans, this exhibition offers the public an opportunity to experience works across a variety of genres, including painting, sculpture, objets, and cartoons.
