International LED & OLED EXPO
Opens June 21 at KINTEX
Now in its 20th year, the International LED & OLED EXPO — Korea's largest specialized trade exhibition for the LED and optical convergence industry — has been completely reorganized as the ‘2022 International Optical Convergence O2O Expo’ and will be held both online and offline over three days, from June 21 to 23, at KINTEX in Ilsan.
The ‘2022 International Optical Convergence O2O Expo’ will showcase everything in the LED and optical convergence industry, including LED and OLED materials, parts and equipment, Lighting, Display-Signage, and optical convergence technologies. During the exhibition, the ‘Optical Convergence Industry Forum 2022’ will also be held concurrently, inviting the foremost authorities in the optical industry to examine the current status and future direction of the sector.
At the 2022 International Optical Convergence O2O Expo, an ‘Optical Convergence Innovative Technology Purchasing Consultation Meeting’ will be conducted in cooperation with the Win-Win Growth Committee, expanded to a scale of 50 companies including major domestic corporations and public institutions. At last year's purchasing consultation meeting, buyers such as Samsung Engineering, Samsung SDI, Naver, LG Display, POSCO E&C, Hanwha Engineering & Construction, and emart24 participated. As a result, the event is expected to serve as a venue of new opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises that have struggled to enter the domestic market amid COVID-19.
In addition, the overseas buyer-invitation export consultation meeting hosted by KOTRA during the exhibition period will be conducted via video consultation over five days. It will arrange 1:1 consultation matching between domestic companies and buyers with genuine purchasing power from the United States, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and elsewhere, and plans to concentrate all its capabilities on ensuring that these consultations lead to actual purchase contracts.
This exhibition represents a high-value-added, new growth industry with expectations of creating new markets in the optical convergence sector. Having grown alongside the development of the LED and OLED industries, the International Optical Convergence Expo has come to be recognized as Korea's largest specialized optical convergence industry exhibition, drawing participation from leading companies at home and abroad.
