An inspiring September show theme: ‘ENJOY!’

The decoration, design and lifestyle fair ‘2023 Maison&Objet September’ will be held from September 7 to 11 at the Paris Nord Villepinte exhibition center.

Bringing together experts from the global design, home décor and lifestyle industries in one place, Maison&Objet aims to discover talent and foster networking across its online platform and offline exhibitions, while providing inspiration to help businesses grow. Holding two trade fairs a year, along with Paris Design Week—which gathers the creative energy of designers and brands in Paris each September—Maison&Objet is an essential platform for all interior design industry professionals.

Launched in 2016, MOM (Maison&Objet And More) enables consumers and brands to communicate throughout the year, release collections and build connections online. In addition, the Maison&Objet Academy has introduced an exclusive web channel that broadcasts monthly content for industry professionals, focused on education and keeping up with market trends. Maison&Objet is also active on numerous social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Xing, WeChat and Talk, with a community of around one million members.

The inspiring September show theme ‘ENJOY!’ goes beyond a trend, offering a journey in search of pleasure. In this exhibition, the ‘pursuit of pleasure’ is set to take center stage in the post-COVID era, already showcasing vivid colors, glamour, boldness and joy. Visitors can savor the pleasure of interiors that promote well-being, activate endorphins through design, and rediscover the joys of festivity and fantasy. The ‘ENJOY!’ theme can be experienced through Maison&Objet’s new sectors and its key conferences and events.

A new ‘Well-being, Beauty’ sector also makes its debut at the September show and on MOM. It offers products from brands that benefit people and provides sustainable answers to the pursuit of pleasure. The exhibitors in this sector also share positive values such as organic trends, ecological circularity and local production.

Meanwhile, Maison&Objet has named Belgium’s Muller Van Severen as its 2023 ‘Designer of the Year.’ Major figures in international design and furniture, the Muller Van Severen duo will, for the first time, present a ‘cocoon’ exhibition—evoking a cocoon to convey the feeling of a comfortable sanctuary—as an engaging showcase of the works they have created over roughly the past decade.
